चिकित्सकों ने सलाह दी है कि कोरोना वैक्सीन लगवाने के बाद इससे होने वाले दर्द को कम करने के लिए बच्चों को डॉक्टरी परामर्श के बगैर पैरासिटामोल दवा नहीं लेनी चाहिए। चिकित्सकों ने यह सलाह शुक्रवार को जारी करते हुए कहा कि ऐसा देखा जा रहा है कि कुछ वैक्सीनेशन सेंटरों पर बच्चों को वैक्सीन लगाए जाने के बाद कहा जा रहा है कि अगर दर्द महसूस हो तो घर जाकर 500 मिलीग्राम पैरासिटामोल की तीन गोलियां नियमित अंतराल पर खा लेना। इस तरह पैरासिटामोल की गोली बिना किसी सलाह के लेना बच्चों को नुकसान पहुंचा सकता है। आकाश हेल्थकेयर के डॉक्टर अक्षय बुद्धिराजा ने कहा कि कोरोना वैक्सीन लगवाने से पहले या बाद में एहतियात के तौर पर किसी को भी इस दवा को लेने की सलाह नहीं दी जाती है क्योंकि हमें अभी तक यह जानकारी नहीं है कि यह शरीर की प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली पर किस प्रकार असर डालती है। इंड़ियन स्पाइनल इंजरीज सेंटर के वरिष्ठ सलाहकार डा. कर्नल विकास दत्ता ने बताया कि 15 से 18 वर्ष के बच्चों को कोरोना वैक्सीन लगाने के बाद इस दवा को दिए जाने की सलाह नहीं दी जा सकती है क्योंकि इसका लीवर पर गंभीर दुष्प्रभाव पड़ता है। गौरतलब है कि कुछ लोगों में वैक्सीन लेने के बाद इंजेक्शन लगाए जाने वाली जगह पर दर्द या सूजन होने लगती है और पहले दो दिनों में मांसपेशियों में दर्द, बुखार ,सिरदर्द तथा ऐसी ही कुछ दिक्कतें देखने को मिलती है लेकिन बाद में ये अपने आप ठीक हो जाती हैं। डा. बुद्धिराजा ने कहा कि अगर किसी को बुखार रहता है या दर्द अधिक होता है तो चिकित्सक की सलाह पर उसे इस दवा अथवा कोई और दर्दनिवारक दवा को खाने की सलाह दी जा सकती है। पैरासिटामोल को एहतियात के तौर बुखार की रोकथाम के लिए नहीं दिया जा सकता है क्योंकि वैक्सीन लगवाए जाने के बाद शरीर की प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली में कुछ बदलाव आने के बाद ही बुखार होता है। डा. दत्ता ने बताया कि अगर बच्चों को वैक्सीन के बाद बुखार आता है तो उनके लिए मेफानामिक एसिड़ या मेफटाल सीरप बेहतर है और बड़ों के लिए पैरासिटामोल सुरक्षित है। भारत की पहली स्वदेशी कोविड वैक्सीन बनाने वाली कंपनी भारत बायोटेक ने इससे पहले भी कहा था कि वैक्सीनेशन के बाद पैरासिटामोल अथवा कोई अन्य दर्द निवारक दवा के इस्तेमाल की सिफारिश नहीं की गई हैं। देश में ओमिक्रोन संक्र मण के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए सरकार ने 15 से 18 वर्ष के बच्चों के लिए कोवैक्सीन लगाए जाने को मंजूरी दी है। केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्री डा. मनसुख मांडविया के अनुसार बुधवार तक देश में 15 से 18 वर्ष के एक करोड़ बच्चों को वैक्सीन लगाई जा चुकी है। देश की व्यस्क आबादी का कोरोना वैक्सीनेशन का दायरा बढ़कर 149.66 करोड़ हो गया है। इस बीच देश में शुक्रवार को कोराना के 1,17,100 नए मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं जो एक दिन का रिकार्ड हैं और ओमिक्रोन मामलों की संख्या भी बढ़कर 3,007 हो गई है। यह भी पढ़े► 2020 में हर 2 मिनट में एक बच्चा एचआईवी से संक्रमित हुआ : यूनिसेफ
