Shri Krishna Ayush University In Kurukshetra Will Start Soon

All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) and the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) jointly organized an Interactive meeting for Research and Education in Ayush with a focus on R& D, Education, and capacity building today at New Delhi. The objective of the interactive meeting was to brainstorm and set goals to capitalize on the expertise and experience of the Chairs in academic and research avenues. The participants discussed the research education ecosystem in Ayush Colleges, at both graduation and post-graduation levels. The meeting was focused on Research & Development, Education & capacity building in the Ayush sector. All the Directors presented their success stories. On this occasion, Vd. Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush, said “Today we all have gathered here to brainstorm how we can collectively use the expertise and knowledge of the distinguished chair and set up the goal for the future. The pandemic allowed Ayush to develop their science, and Ayush did it by developing Ayush 64, etc.”. Pramod Kumar Pathak, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, said “This meeting will help researchers to get the insights from Ayush Distinguished Chairs and know their experience in their field. An initiative like today’s was the need of the hour. The Ministry of Ayush is working to promote Ayush’s patents and research”. Welcoming everyone Prof. Tanuja Nesari, Director of AIIA said, “It is a historic movement when Administrators, Policy makers, Education experts, Researchers, and distinguished Scientists have come under one platform. This platform gives us an opportunity to create an evidence-based Ayurveda creating disciplinary model and integration. Prof. Vd Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General CCRAS, said “When we compare Ayush with Chinese alternative method of treatment, it has much more potential to go high. During COVID time Ayush system has registered more clinical studies, in comparison to the Chinese system of medicines. It is high time to give much priority to research,”. The meeting was attended by Heads of all Ayush National Institutions, Research, Councils, and advisors of MoA, Chairman of NCSIM Vaidya Jayant Deopujari, and NCH Dr. Anil Khurana including five newly- distinguished appointed scientists Ayush Distinguished Scientist Chairs Dr. Nandini K. Kumar (Interdisciplinary Clinical Research), Dr. Arvind Chopra, (Public health and Epidemiology), Dr. Sharmila Shekhar Mande (Ayurveda Biology and Basic Sciences), Dr. Madhu Dikshit (Pharmaceutical Drug Development) and Dr. B.N. जी-20 में भारत की अध्यक्षता के अंतर्गत दूसरे स्वास्थ्य कार्य समूह की बैठक के दूसरे दिन, डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य और इनोवेशन का लाभ उठाते हुए यूनिवर्सल हेल्थ कवरेज के लिए नागरिक केंद्रित हेल्थ डिलिवरी इकोसिस्टम पर एक महत्वपूर्ण विचार-मंथन सत्र हुआ। आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव वैद्य राजेश कोटेचा ने एक इतर समारोह में उद्घाटन भाषण देते हुए संयुक्त राष्ट्र निकायों के मार्गदर्शन और समर्थन से पारंपरिक चिकित्सा "आयुष ग्रिड" के लिए व्यापक आईटी बैकबोन के जरिए और पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में एआई की बेंचमार्किंग सुनिश्चित करते हुए सेवा वितरण के एक एकीकृत समग्र स्वास्थ्य सेवा मॉडल पर जोर दिया। वैद्य कोटेचा ने कहा कि न केवल स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रणाली की दक्षता और नतीजों के लिए डिजिटल उपकरणों के इस्तेमाल की हिमायत करने की जरूरत है, बल्कि मेडिकल रिकॉर्ड को बनाए रखने, सूचनाओं का आदान-प्रदान करने और स्वास्थ्य सेवा के विभिन्न प्रकारों की प्रभावशीलता का मूल्यांकन करने की भी जरूरत है। स्वास्थ्य सेवा के विभिन्न प्रकारों में औषधीय-चिकित्सीय हस्तक्षेप, पारंपरिक चिकित्सा आधारित दृष्टिकोण और अन्य नवाचार शामिल हैं लेकिन ये इन्हीं तक सीमित नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत में डब्ल्यूएचओ के आगामी पारंपरिक चिकित्सा वैश्विक केंद्र का एक कार्य पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में डेटा विश्लेषण और प्रौद्योगिकी पर काम करने का है। ये आने वाले भविष्य में पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में डेटा और प्रौद्योगिकी के प्रवाह के लिए पर्याप्त होगा। सचिव कोटेचा ने डिजिटल हेल्थ इकोसिस्टम के निर्माण पर पैनल चर्चा में भी हिस्सा लिया जिसका विषय था सामंजस्यपूर्ण और कुशल स्वास्थ्य-डेटा शासन ढांचे की ओर बढ़ना। उन्होंने डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य के इस महत्वपूर्ण पहलू के बारे में बात की जो लगातार बढ़ रहा है और पारंपरिक चिकित्सा सहित स्वास्थ्य सेवा में आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस का उपयोग सर्वव्यापी होता जा रहा है। श्री कोटेचा ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य सेवा में इनके सुरक्षित, प्रभावी उपयोग के लिए बेंचमार्क, दिशानिर्देशों और नीतियों के विकास के साथ तालमेल बैठाने की जरूरत है। पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में एआई की बेंचमार्किंग और विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन व अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दूरसंचार संघ जैसे संयुक्त राष्ट्र निकायों के मार्गदर्शन और समर्थन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आयुष मंत्रालय पारंपरिक चिकित्सा पर एक विषय समूह का नेतृत्व कर रहा है जो कि स्वास्थ्य के लिए आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस पर फोकस ग्रुप (एफजी-एआई4एच) का हिस्सा है। राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य नीति 2017 जिसमें टेक्नोलॉजी (ई-हेल्थ, एम-हेल्थ, क्लाउड, इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स, वियरेबल्स आदि) की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका की परिकल्पना की गई है, उसके आधार पर आयुष मंत्रालय ने आयुष ग्रिड की कल्पना की है, जो आयुष्मान भारत डिजिटल मिशन के सिद्धांतों के अनुरूप है। ये भारत में पारंपरिक चिकित्सा क्षेत्र के लिए एक व्यापक आईटी बैकबोन है और इसे एक सुरक्षित और इंटरऑपरेबल डिजिटल इकोसिस्टम के माध्यम से सभी को कुशल, समग्र, सस्ती और गुणवत्तापूर्ण सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए आयुष क्षेत्र के कायापलट के विजन के साथ बनाया गया है। ये आयुष ग्रिड चार स्तरों पर काम करता है - कोर लेयर, नेशनल लेयर, स्टेट लेयर और सिटीजन एक्सेस। इससे सभी हितधारकों के बीच निर्बाध डिजिटल जुड़ाव सुनिश्चित होता है। जी-20 की भारतीय अध्यक्षता में स्वास्थ्य कार्य समूह की दूसरी बैठक वर्तमान में पणजी, गोवा में 17 से 19 अप्रैल, 2023 तक चल रही है। इसमें 19 जी-20 सदस्य देशों, 10 आमंत्रित राज्यों और 22 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों के 180 से अधिक प्रतिनिधि भाग ले रहे हैं। आयुष मंत्रालय ने स्वास्थ्य कार्य समूह की दूसरी बैठक के मौके पर डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य पर आयोजित प्रदर्शनी में एक स्टॉल लगाया है। यह भी पढ़े►पारंपरिक चिकित्सा को प्रोत्‍साहित करने के लिए 25 देश एक साथ

The B2B Conference & Expo along with the National Arogya Summit, held in Guwahati recently under the aegis of the Ministry of Ayush under India’s presidency of SCO, has successfully brought together 25 SCO countries to promote Traditional Medicine so as that it can contribute to the economic development, environment protection and achieve the goal of Health Security among the SCO nations. The event witnessed the active participation of H.E. Dr. Thet Khaing Win Minister of Health, Myanmar, H.E. Safiyya Mohamed Saeed Deputy Minister of Health, Maldives and Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai MoS for Ayush and Participation of China, Russia, and Pakistan in technical sessions through virtual mode was also noteworthy.  The Conference and Expo cum Summit was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping &Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal. India attained the SCO full member status in 2017 and after assuming the Presidency of SCO Council of Heads of State for the year 2023 on 17th September 2022 at Samarkand in Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had remarked that India would take the initiative for a new SCO Expert Working Group on Traditional Medicine. Accordingly, the Ministry of Ayush has taken various initiatives on Traditional Medicine during India’s SCO Presidency viz., organized a virtual conference of experts and practitioners of Traditional Medicine, conducted the First Expert Working Group (EWG) on Traditional Medicine wherein Draft Regulations of the EWG on Traditional Medicine were approved at an expert level and will be further subjected to other respective country administrative procedures and finally to be adopted at the Head of the States Summit. It is in this light that the Guwahati SCO B2B Conference and Expo acquire importance and could successfully take the momentum further. On the sidelines of the SCO B2B conference, the Ministry of Ayush also had a bilateral meeting with Myanmar to discuss cooperation on Ayurveda and Traditional Medicine. The MoU for the same was signed between the Ministry of Ayush, India, and the Ministry of Health, Myanmar on 29th August 2016, which is automatically extended and valid up till 28th August 2026. The Indian side was led by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Minister for Ayush and Ports, Shipping & waterways. Myanmar's side was led by H.E. Dr. Thet Khaing Win,  Minister, Ministry of Health, Myanmar. This Conference was attended by a total of 214 participants, out of which 83 were international delegates from 16 SCO Countries and 131 were Indian delegates. A total of 30 presentations were made during the said event of which 19 were from SCO Countries. 11 presentations were delivered by the Indian side, including presentations from the Ministry of Ayush and the industry. A total of 11 sessions were held during the said conference. Active participation by all representatives across various discussions/presentations, trade activities and concurrently running National Arogya Summit/Expo was a remarkable achievement. While 56 exhibitors, including industries, educational institutes, and Ayush services providers exhibited their products, institutions & infrastructure, and were involved in the B2B expo in Guwahati, the encouraging response came from 60 buyers from 11 countries in the form of keen interest. During the conference and the Expo, more than 125 one-to-one meetings were held between buyers & sellers. The trade interest was received from 13 SCO countries in the fields of Ayurveda Education, Traditional Medicine Products, and developing Infrastructure for providing Ayurveda and Yoga for Medical Value Travel. These B2B meeting participants were from Tajikistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and India. The B2B conference was organized in line with the theme “SECURE” SCO, where ‘S’ stands for Security for Citizens, ‘E’ for Economic Development, ‘C’ for Connectivity, ‘U’ for Unity, ‘R’ for Respect for Sovereignty and Territorial Unity and ‘E’ for Environment Protection. These themes were covered during the SCO events in India in the following manner:- The SCO nations together deliberated on various issues about Traditional Medicine, easing up trade for traditional medicine within the SCO nations and promoting Traditional medicine. These issues were discussed upon to achieve the goal of Health Security among the SCO nations, which relates to the Security (Health) theme of SCO. Keeping the theme of Economic Development into consideration, 10 LOIs were received during the event along with a direct trade interest of over INR 590 Crore. Likewise, the opportunities will also be available for other SCO countries. 16 SCO nations brought together under one umbrella for deliberating on the key agenda of the development of traditional medicine and its active promotion highlights the Connectivity theme of SCO. Consensus was developed among the Experts from SCO Member States on the Regulations of the EWG on TM under SCO which relates to the Unity theme of SCO. This event held by the Ministry of Ayush, under the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, was not only a crown jewel in the SCO deliberations and cooperation efforts under the presidency of India but also highlights the potential for growth and synergies between SCO Nations in the global Traditional Medicine sector.
