Ministry Issues Guidelines For Monkeypox

All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) and the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) jointly organized an Interactive meeting for Research and Education in Ayush with a focus on R& D, Education, and capacity building today at New Delhi. The objective of the interactive meeting was to brainstorm and set goals to capitalize on the expertise and experience of the Chairs in academic and research avenues. The participants discussed the research education ecosystem in Ayush Colleges, at both graduation and post-graduation levels. The meeting was focused on Research & Development, Education & capacity building in the Ayush sector. All the Directors presented their success stories. On this occasion, Vd. Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush, said “Today we all have gathered here to brainstorm how we can collectively use the expertise and knowledge of the distinguished chair and set up the goal for the future. The pandemic allowed Ayush to develop their science, and Ayush did it by developing Ayush 64, etc.”. Pramod Kumar Pathak, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, said “This meeting will help researchers to get the insights from Ayush Distinguished Chairs and know their experience in their field. An initiative like today’s was the need of the hour. The Ministry of Ayush is working to promote Ayush’s patents and research”. Welcoming everyone Prof. Tanuja Nesari, Director of AIIA said, “It is a historic movement when Administrators, Policy makers, Education experts, Researchers, and distinguished Scientists have come under one platform. This platform gives us an opportunity to create an evidence-based Ayurveda creating disciplinary model and integration. Prof. Vd Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General CCRAS, said “When we compare Ayush with Chinese alternative method of treatment, it has much more potential to go high. During COVID time Ayush system has registered more clinical studies, in comparison to the Chinese system of medicines. It is high time to give much priority to research,”. The meeting was attended by Heads of all Ayush National Institutions, Research, Councils, and advisors of MoA, Chairman of NCSIM Vaidya Jayant Deopujari, and NCH Dr. Anil Khurana including five newly- distinguished appointed scientists Ayush Distinguished Scientist Chairs Dr. Nandini K. जी-20 में भारत की अध्यक्षता के अंतर्गत दूसरे स्वास्थ्य कार्य समूह की बैठक के दूसरे दिन, डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य और इनोवेशन का लाभ उठाते हुए यूनिवर्सल हेल्थ कवरेज के लिए नागरिक केंद्रित हेल्थ डिलिवरी इकोसिस्टम पर एक महत्वपूर्ण विचार-मंथन सत्र हुआ। आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव वैद्य राजेश कोटेचा ने एक इतर समारोह में उद्घाटन भाषण देते हुए संयुक्त राष्ट्र निकायों के मार्गदर्शन और समर्थन से पारंपरिक चिकित्सा "आयुष ग्रिड" के लिए व्यापक आईटी बैकबोन के जरिए और पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में एआई की बेंचमार्किंग सुनिश्चित करते हुए सेवा वितरण के एक एकीकृत समग्र स्वास्थ्य सेवा मॉडल पर जोर दिया। वैद्य कोटेचा ने कहा कि न केवल स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रणाली की दक्षता और नतीजों के लिए डिजिटल उपकरणों के इस्तेमाल की हिमायत करने की जरूरत है, बल्कि मेडिकल रिकॉर्ड को बनाए रखने, सूचनाओं का आदान-प्रदान करने और स्वास्थ्य सेवा के विभिन्न प्रकारों की प्रभावशीलता का मूल्यांकन करने की भी जरूरत है। स्वास्थ्य सेवा के विभिन्न प्रकारों में औषधीय-चिकित्सीय हस्तक्षेप, पारंपरिक चिकित्सा आधारित दृष्टिकोण और अन्य नवाचार शामिल हैं लेकिन ये इन्हीं तक सीमित नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत में डब्ल्यूएचओ के आगामी पारंपरिक चिकित्सा वैश्विक केंद्र का एक कार्य पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में डेटा विश्लेषण और प्रौद्योगिकी पर काम करने का है। ये आने वाले भविष्य में पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में डेटा और प्रौद्योगिकी के प्रवाह के लिए पर्याप्त होगा। सचिव कोटेचा ने डिजिटल हेल्थ इकोसिस्टम के निर्माण पर पैनल चर्चा में भी हिस्सा लिया जिसका विषय था सामंजस्यपूर्ण और कुशल स्वास्थ्य-डेटा शासन ढांचे की ओर बढ़ना। उन्होंने डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य के इस महत्वपूर्ण पहलू के बारे में बात की जो लगातार बढ़ रहा है और पारंपरिक चिकित्सा सहित स्वास्थ्य सेवा में आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस का उपयोग सर्वव्यापी होता जा रहा है। श्री कोटेचा ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य सेवा में इनके सुरक्षित, प्रभावी उपयोग के लिए बेंचमार्क, दिशानिर्देशों और नीतियों के विकास के साथ तालमेल बैठाने की जरूरत है। पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में एआई की बेंचमार्किंग और विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन व अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दूरसंचार संघ जैसे संयुक्त राष्ट्र निकायों के मार्गदर्शन और समर्थन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आयुष मंत्रालय पारंपरिक चिकित्सा पर एक विषय समूह का नेतृत्व कर रहा है जो कि स्वास्थ्य के लिए आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस पर फोकस ग्रुप (एफजी-एआई4एच) का हिस्सा है। राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य नीति 2017 जिसमें टेक्नोलॉजी (ई-हेल्थ, एम-हेल्थ, क्लाउड, इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स, वियरेबल्स आदि) की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका की परिकल्पना की गई है, उसके आधार पर आयुष मंत्रालय ने आयुष ग्रिड की कल्पना की है, जो आयुष्मान भारत डिजिटल मिशन के सिद्धांतों के अनुरूप है। ये भारत में पारंपरिक चिकित्सा क्षेत्र के लिए एक व्यापक आईटी बैकबोन है और इसे एक सुरक्षित और इंटरऑपरेबल डिजिटल इकोसिस्टम के माध्यम से सभी को कुशल, समग्र, सस्ती और गुणवत्तापूर्ण सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए आयुष क्षेत्र के कायापलट के विजन के साथ बनाया गया है। ये आयुष ग्रिड चार स्तरों पर काम करता है - कोर लेयर, नेशनल लेयर, स्टेट लेयर और सिटीजन एक्सेस। इससे सभी हितधारकों के बीच निर्बाध डिजिटल जुड़ाव सुनिश्चित होता है। जी-20 की भारतीय अध्यक्षता में स्वास्थ्य कार्य समूह की दूसरी बैठक वर्तमान में पणजी, गोवा में 17 से 19 अप्रैल, 2023 तक चल रही है। इसमें 19 जी-20 सदस्य देशों, 10 आमंत्रित राज्यों और 22 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों के 180 से अधिक प्रतिनिधि भाग ले रहे हैं। आयुष मंत्रालय ने स्वास्थ्य कार्य समूह की दूसरी बैठक के मौके पर डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य पर आयोजित प्रदर्शनी में एक स्टॉल लगाया है। यह भी पढ़े►पारंपरिक चिकित्सा को प्रोत्‍साहित करने के लिए 25 देश एक साथ

आयुष मंत्रालय और ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय ने गुरुवार को ग्रामीण युवाओं को आर्थिक रूप से स्वतंत्र और विश्व स्तर पर प्रासंगिक कार्यबल में बदलने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। परिवहन भवन में आयुष मंत्रालय के सलाहकार मनोज नेसारी और ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय के संयुक्त सचिव कर्मा जिम्पा भूटिया ने केंद्रीय आयुष मंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल और केंद्रीय पंचायत मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह की उपस्थिति में समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। आयुष राज्यमंत्री, मुंजापारा महेंद्रभाई कालूभाई, सचिव आयुष, राजेश कोटेचा, प्रमोद कुमार पाठक, आयुष मंत्रालय के विशेष सचिव और शैलेश कुमार सिंह, ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय के सचिव, प्रोफेसर (डॉ.) तनुजा मनोज नेसारी, आयुष उप के अध्यक्ष इस अवसर पर सेक्टर स्किल काउंसिल और निदेशक, अखिल भारतीय आयुर्वेद संस्थान भी उपस्थित थे। सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह का स्वागत किया और कहा कि दोनों मंत्रालय स्वरोजगार की भावना को बढ़ावा देने में सहयोग करेंगे। सिंह ने अपने भाषण में आयुष क्षेत्र में देखी गई वृद्धि के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और आयुष मंत्रालय की प्रशंसा की, जो 2014 में 3 अरब डॉलर से बढ़कर वर्ष 2022 में 19 अरब डॉलर हो गया। मंत्री ने स्केलिंग और अवसर देने के लिए पीएम मोदी को भी धन्यवाद दिया। डीडीयू-जीकेवाई (दीन दयाल उपाध्याय-ग्रामीण कौशल योजना) के बारे में बात करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि वह महिलाओं के स्वयं सहायता समूहों को सशक्त बनाएंगे और आयुष मंत्रालय के सहयोग से स्वरोजगार और कौशल विकास में वृद्धि हासिल करने में मदद मिलेगी। इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए अखिल भारतीय आयुर्वेद संस्थान की निदेशक प्रो. (डॉ.) तनुजा मनोज नेसारी ने कहा कि दोनों मंत्रालयों के बीच सहयोग आयुर्वेद से संबंधित कौशल और सेवा क्षेत्र को बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। ग्रामीण गरीब युवाओं को प्रायोगिक आधार पर निम्नलिखित पाठ्यक्रमों में आयुष मंत्रालय के सहयोग से प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जाएगा : पंचकर्म तकनीशियन, पंचकर्म सहायक, आयुर्वेदिक मालिशिया, क्षार कर्म तकनीशियन, कपिंग थेरेपी सहायक और कौशल विकास के इतिहास में मील का पत्थर बनना। इस सहयोग का उद्देश्य आयुष हेल्थकेयर सिस्टम और आयुष प्रबंधन क्षेत्रों के लिए कुशल कर्मियों को विकसित करने में मदद करना है, प्रशिक्षण को वैश्विक मानकों के अनुरूप बनाया जाएगा, ऐसे क्षेत्रों में राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कुशल मानव संसाधनों के विकास की मांगों को पूरा करने में सक्षम बनाने के लिए। दोनों मंत्रालयों के बीच सहयोग ग्रामीण गरीब युवाओं को डीडीयू-जीकेवाई योजना के तहत राष्ट्रीय योग्यता रजिस्टर पर उपलब्ध राष्ट्रीय कौशल योग्यता रूपरेखा संरेखित पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करने में मदद करेगा। दीन दयाल उपाध्याय-ग्रामीण कौशल्य योजना (डीडीयू-जीकेवाई) के माध्यम से ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय का मिशन ग्रामीण युवाओं को कौशल प्रदान करने के लिए आयुष मंत्रालय के साथ गठबंधन करेगा और ग्रामीण युवाओं को सशक्त बनाने के लिए अवसरों के क्षितिज में नए द्वार खोलेगा। यह भी पढ़े►आयुर्वेद की परिभाषा, महत्व और इतिहास : Definition, Importance and History of Ayurveda

The Ministry of Ayush has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the Ministry of Tourism, and the Government of India to work together for the promotion of Medical Value Travel in Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine. Dr. Shashi Ranjan Vidyarthi, Director, Ministry of Ayush, and Shri Piyush Tiwari, Director (Commercial and Marketing), ITDC signed the MoU in presence of Shri Pramod Kumar Pathak, special secretary, MoA, and other senior officials of Ministry of Ayush and ITDC. According to the MoU, the Ministry of Ayush will provide training to the officials of ITDC to sensitize them about the Medical value of travel in Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine. It will identify tourist circuits, where there is immense scope to promote Medical value travel in Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine and provide all the technical know-how from time to time to ITDC. ITDC on the suggestion of the Ministry of Ayush will include historical heritage sites of Indian systems of medicine in tourist destinations under "Knowledge Tourism and may develop films/literature useful to tourists. It will explore establishing Ayurveda and Yoga centers in the Hotels run by ITDC and will organize sensitization workshops in collaboration. The implementation and progress of the MoU will be monitored by a Joint Working Group (JWG) co-chaired by representatives from MoA and ITDC. The JWG will also identify the best practices adopted by Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, etc. to promote themselves as a preferred destination for Medical value travel. In the recently concluded First Health Working Group meeting of the G20 India presidency at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala G20 delegates deliberated on opportunities and challenges to promote MVT in India. Medical Value Travel has seen significant growth in India in recent years. According to the report ‘The Global Wellness Economy: Looking beyond COVID’ by the Global Wellness Institute (GWI), the Global Wellness economy will grow at 9.9% annually.
