Ayurveda Day to Be Celebrated With The Motto Har Ghar Har Din Ayurveda

Union Minister of AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the Curtain Raiser for the 9th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) and Arogya Expo today at Panaji. The event will be held from December 8 to December 11 in Goa. The four-day event, supported by the Central and state governments and the Union Ministry of AYUSH, will witness an assemblage of about 5000 Ayurveda stakeholders industry leaders, practitioners, traditional healers, educationists, students, drug manufacturers, growers of medicinal plants and marketing strategists from across the world. Speaking at the event, Minister Sarbananda Sonowal noted that the focal theme of the event ‘Ayurveda for One Health’ is very meaningful for the journey of life. He described how Ayurveda is not just about maintaining one’s health but is a holistic system to take care of Mother Earth as well. He stated that India is leading the way globally when it comes to traditional systems of medicine. The market size of the AYUSH sector has grown from 3 billion USD to over 18 billion USD in the past 8 years thanks to the efforts of the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, added Minister Sonowal at a Press Conference following the inauguration. The Minister said the Ministry of AYUSH with all stakeholders of Ayurveda celebrates Ayurveda Day every year on Dhanvantari Jayanti on October 23. The motto of this year’s celebration is “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda” (Ayurveda every day, Ayurveda Everywhere), he added. All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi, is the nodal Agency for the implementation of the programme. “Around 22 Ministries and departments of the Government of India are collaborating for this event,” he said. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said Goa is drawing up plans to become a prime Ayurveda and wellness tourism hub on the strength of a slew of initiatives. The state is eager to harness the benefits of the Ayush visa, announced by the Prime Minister recently, to develop tourism, health and wellness centres and make Goa the best in the health tourism sector, the Chief Minister said. Noting that the WAC has grown over the years, Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Tourism, Ports Shipping and Waterways said the World Health Organisation (WHO) is part of the WAC for the first time and it will trigger the immense interest of participants. He said Goa with its natural beauty and Goans with their hospitality will certainly make this edition of WAC memorable. केंद्रीय आयुष मंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने पणजी में 9वीं विश्व आयुर्वेद कांग्रेस (डब्ल्यूएसी) और आरोग्य एक्सपो के लिए कर्टन रेजर का उद्घाटन किया। यह आयोजन 8 दिसंबर से 11 दिसंबर तक गोवा में होगा। केंद्र सरकार और राज्य सरकारों के साथ-साथ केंद्रीय आयुष मंत्रालय द्वारा समर्थित चार-दिवसीय कार्यक्रम में लगभग 5000 आयुर्वेद हितधारकों-उद्योग जगत के दिग्गजों, चिकित्सकों, पारंपरिक चिकित्सकों, शिक्षाविदों, छात्रों, दवा निर्माताओं, औषधीय पौधों के उत्पादकों के साथ-साथ विश्व भर के मार्केटिंग रणनीतिकार भाग लेंगे। कार्यक्रम में अपने संबोधन में आयुष मंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने कहा कि 'आयुर्वेद फॉर वन हेल्थ' कार्यक्रम का मुख्य विषय जीवन की यात्रा के लिए बहुत सार्थक है। उन्होंने विस्तारपूर्वक बताया कि कैसे आयुर्वेद न केवल किसी के स्वास्थ्य को बनाए रखने पर केंद्रित है, बल्कि धरती माता की देखभाल करने की एक समग्र प्रणाली भी है। उन्होंने कहा कि जब चिकित्सा की पारंपरिक प्रणालियों की बात आती है तो भारत विश्व स्तर पर अग्रणी है। उद्घाटन के बाद एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में सोनोवाल ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत सरकार के प्रयासों की बदौलत पिछले 8 वर्षों में आयुष क्षेत्र के बाजार का कारोबार 3 बिलियन अमरीकी डालर से बढ़कर 18 बिलियन अमरीकी डालर से अधिक हो गया है। सोनोवाल ने कहा कि आयुष मंत्रालय हर साल 23 अक्टूबर को धन्वंतरि जयंती पर आयुर्वेद के सभी हितधारकों के साथ आयुर्वेद दिवस मनाता है। इस वर्ष के उत्सव का आदर्श वाक्य "हर दिन हर घर आयुर्वेद" (आयुर्वेद एवरीडे, आयुर्वेद एवरीवेयर) है। अखिल भारतीय आयुर्वेद संस्थान, नई दिल्ली इस कार्यक्रम के कार्यान्वयन के लिए नोडल एजेंसी है। उन्होंने कहा, "भारत सरकार के लगभग 22 मंत्रालय और विभाग इस आयोजन के लिए सहयोग कर रहे हैं।” गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत ने कहा कि गोवा कई पहलों के बल पर एक प्रमुख आयुर्वेद और हेल्थ टूरिज्म सेंटर बनने की योजना बना रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य पर्यटन, हेल्थ एंड वैलनेस सेंटर को विकसित करने और गोवा को हेल्थ टूरिज्म सेक्टर में सर्वश्रेष्ठ बनाने के लिए हाल ही में प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा घोषित आयुष वीजा के लाभों का उपयोग करने के लिए उत्सुक है। यह बताते हुए कि डब्ल्यूएसी पिछले कुछ वर्षों में विकसित हुआ है, पर्यटन, बंदरगाह जहाजरानी और जलमार्ग राज्य मंत्री श्रीपद येसो नाइक ने कहा कि विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) पहली बार डब्ल्यूएसी का हिस्सा बना है और इससे प्रतिभागियों की रुचि अत्यधिक बढ़ेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि गोवा अपनी प्राकृतिक सुंदरता और गोवा के अपने आतिथ्य के बल पर डब्ल्यूएसी के इस आयोजन को निश्चित रूप से यादगार बना देगा। कार्यक्रम में केंद्रीय आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव श्री राजेश कोटेचा, गोवा के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री विश्वजीत राणे, अखिल भारतीय आयुर्वेद संस्थान, नई दिल्ली की निदेशक तनुजा नेसारी, कोट्टक्कल आर्य वैद्यशाला के प्रबंध न्यासी और डब्ल्यूएसी की राष्ट्रीय आयोजन समिति के अध्यक्ष डॉ. पी. एम. वेरियर के साथ-साथ आरोग्य और आयुष क्षेत्र के अन्य प्रमुख गणमान्य व्यक्ति भी उपस्थित थे। यह अंग्रेजी में भी पढ़े► Ayurveda Day to Be Celebrated With The Motto Har Ghar Har Din Ayurveda

आयुर्वेद की औषधियों में विराजमान

नवरात्रि माँ दुर्गा की शक्तियों का प्रतीक होने के साथ-साथ स्वास्थ्य के हिसाब से भी बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है। आयुर्वेद के अनुसार शरद ऋतु के आरंभ में व्रत उपवास और संयम रखना स्वास्थ्य के लिए उत्तम माना जाता है। आयुर्वेद में उपवास को भी निदान पद्धति माना गया है।  नवरात्र में दुर्गा जी के नौ रूपों की पूजा की जाती है और मान्यता है कि नवदुर्गा नौ विशिष्ट औषधियों में विराजमान हैं। इन औषधियों के सेवन से हमारे शारीरिक और मानसिक बल में वृद्धि होती है। साथ ही इन दिव्य औषधियों से हमारी रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ती है। आइए जानते हैं कि नवरात्रि के नौ दिनों की नौ विशिष्ट औषधियाँ जो मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से हमे पुष्ट करता है।  1. प्रथम शैलपुत्री - हरड़  हरड़ आयुर्वेदिक औषधियों में महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखता है। ये कई तरह के होते हैं और इनका आकार भी अलग-अलग होता है। इसकी जड़ से लेकर फल तक का उपयोग होता है। इसमें ऐंटिबैक्टीरियल और ऐंटिइंफ्लामेट्री गुण मौजूद होते हैं जो हमारे शरीर की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को और अधिक मजबूत बनाती है। इसमें आयरन,कॉपर, मैग्नीज, पोटैशियम, प्रोटीन्स और विटामिन भी मौजूद होते हैं। गले और पाचन संबंधी व्याधियों से भी ये हमे बचाता है।  2.द्वितीय ब्रह्मचारिणी - ब्राह्मी ब्राह्मी को सरस्वती भी कहा जाता है। आयुर्वेद में इससे सारस्वतरिष्ट नाम की औषधि बनती है जो बुद्धिबलवर्धक होती है। साथ ही यह आयु और स्मरण शक्ति को भी बढ़ाती है। स्वर में सुधार करने में भी ये उपयोगी सिद्ध होती है।  3. तृतीय चंद्रघंटा - चन्दुसूर  चन्दुसूर मोटापा दूर करने में उपयोगी होता है। इसलिए इसे चर्महंती भी कहा जाता है। इसका पौधा धनिये के समान दिखायी पड़ता है।  4. चतुर्थ कुष्माण्डा - पेठा पेठा जिसे कुम्हड़ा और शीशकोहड़ा भी कहते हैं। इससे पेठा मिठाई बनती है। पुष्टिकारक और बलवर्द्धक होने के साथ-साथ यह रक्त के विकारों ठीक करता हैं और पाचन तंत्र को बेहतर बनाता है। हृदय रोग, पित्त और गैस को भी ठीक करने में यह उपयोगी है।  5. पंचम स्कंदमाता - अलसी  देवी स्कंदमाता को अलसी में विद्यमान माना गया है। यह त्रिदोष यानि वात, पित्त और कफ का नाश करता है।  6.  षष्ठम कात्यायनी - मोइया  यह औषधि कंठ रोगों का विनाश करती है। कफ, पित्त और गले से संबंधित रोगों में विशेषकर लाभप्रद है। इसे अंबिका, अंबालिका, अंबिका, मोइया और माचिक नाम से भी जाना जाता है।  7. सप्तम कालरात्रि - नागदौन  कालरात्रि के दिन की औषधि नागदौन को माना गया है। यह सर्वत्र रोगों का नाश करती है और मन-मस्तिष्क के सभी विकारों को दूर करती है।  8.  अष्टमी महागौरी - तुलसी अष्टमी महागौरी की औषधि तुलसी को माना गया है। आयुर्वेद में तुलसी को बेहद महत्वपूर्ण स्थान प्राप्त है। तुलसी के ढेरों फायदे हैं। ये रक्त को साफ करती है और हृदय रोगों का भी नाश करती है।  9. नवम सिद्धिदात्री - शतावरी शतावरी को नारायणी भी कहते हैं। यह बल - बुद्धिवर्द्धक और हृदयबल को बढ़ाने वाली महाऔषधि है। संक्षेप में यह बल, बुद्धि और विवेक के लिए उपयोगी है।

छह साल में छह गुना बढ़ी आयुष मेडिसिन इंडस्ट्री - वैद्य राजेश कोटेचा

गोरखपुर: आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव, पद्मश्री वैद्य राजेश कोटेचा ने कहा कि 2014 के बाद भारत सरकार द्वारा आयुष को महत्व दिए जाने से इस पर आधारित मेडिसिन इंडस्ट्री छह गुना रफ्तार से आगे बढ़ी है। 2014 में किए गए एक उच्च स्तरीय अध्ययन में निष्कर्ष निकला था कि देश में आयुष इंडस्ट्री का आकार 3 बिलियन डॉलर का था। 2020 में दोबारा हुए अध्ययन में यह आंकड़ा 18.1 बिलियन डॉलर पहुंच चुका था। छह साल में छह गुना विकास दशार्ने वाला यह आंकड़ा देश में आयुष को बढ़ावा देने के कदमों की झलक दिखा जाता है। केंद्रीय आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव, पद्मश्री वैद्य डॉ राजेश कोटेचा ने बुधवार को महायोगी गोरखनाथ विश्वविद्यालय, आरोग्यधाम बालापार गोरखपुर के प्रथम स्थापना दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में 2014 के पूर्व एवं इसके बाद' विषय पर विचार व्यक्त कर रहे थे। वैद्य कोटेचा ने कहा कि कोरोना संकटकाल में प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने अपनी दूरदर्शी सोच से आयुष विभाग को इस संकट को अवसर के रूप में लेने की नसीहत दी थी। इसके बाद टास्क फोर्स बनाकर लोगों को कोरोना से मुक्त कराने का अभियान शुरू कर दिया गया। आयुष को लेकर तब काफी दुष्प्रचार भी हुआ लेकिन लोगों ने भ्रामक प्रचार को दरकिनार करते हुए इस पर पूरा भरोसा रखा। कोरोना के दौर में लोगों को रोग मुक्त व निरोग रखने में गिलोय, अश्वगंधा आदि ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। आयुष पर लोगों के भरोसे को इससे समझा जा सकता है कि करीब दो हजार करोड़ रुपये का कारोबार सिर्फ आयुष काढ़ा का हुआ। उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के समय हुए एक सर्वे में 89.9 प्रतिशत लोग आयुष दवाओं का प्रयोग करते पाए गए। वैद्य कोटेचा ने कोरोना के दौर में आयुष विभाग की तरफ से किए गए कई अध्ययनों के निष्कर्ष को साझा करते हुए बताया कि आयुष की सफलता पर विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्लूएचओ) भी मुरीद हो गया। डब्लूएचओ गुजरात के जामनगर में अपना सेंटर स्थापित कर रहा है तो इसमें आयुष की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव वैद्य कोटेचा ने कहा कि हाल के दिनों में शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भी काफी रिफॉर्म हुए हैं। इससे आने वाले समय में आयुर्वेद व आयुष के क्षेत्र में सुपर स्पेशलिटी कोर्सेज की भी शुरूआत होगी। उन्होंने बीएएमएस के छात्रों का आह्वान किया कि वे सोच ऊंची रखें, बड़ा स्वप्न देखें और पढ़ाई पूर्ण करने के बाद खुद को डॉक्टर की बजाय वैद्य कहलाना अधिक पसंद करें। साथ ही यह उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि आने वाले कुछ सालों में महायोगी गोरखनाथ विश्वविद्यालय देश के श्रेष्ठ विश्वविद्यालयों में से एक होगा। केजीएमयू लखनऊ के पूर्व कुलपति प्रो एल.एम. बी. भट्ट ने कहा कि आयुर्वेद का प्रादुर्भाव वैदिक काल में अथर्ववेद में हुआ। आयुर्वेद बीमारियों से रोकथाम एवं बचाव के साथ ही उनके उपचार की एक सुव्यवस्थित प्रणाली है। यह आयुर्वेद की महत्ता ही है कि इसे हमारी ज्ञान परम्परा और संस्कृति में पंचम वेद के रूप में मान्यता दी गई। प्रो भट्ट ने कहा कि देश की आजादी के बाद से वर्ष 2014 तक समय-समय पर आयुर्वेद के विकास के लिए कुछ कदम उठाए गए। लेकिन, अन्य चिकित्सा पद्धतियों के साथ तुलनात्मक रूप से देखें तो कहीं न कहीं आयुर्वेद नीति नियंताओं के सौतेले व्यवहार का शिकार रहा। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्ष 2014 में नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद देश में तथा 2017 में योगी आदित्यनाथ के मुख्यमंत्री बनने के बाद उत्तर प्रदेश में आयुर्वेद एवं आयुष के विकास व नवाचार की एक आंधी देखने को मिली। इसे ऐसे समझा जा सकता है कि 2014 में पीएम मोदी ने केंद्र में अलग आयुष मंत्रालय बनाया तो उत्तर प्रदेश में 2017 में योगी जी के सीएम बनने पर यहां अलग आयुष मंत्रालय देखने को मिला। देश में आयुर्वेद के विकास के लिए 2014 में नेशनल आयुष मिशन की स्थापना की गई। इसके तहत 31 मार्च 2020 तक जिला अस्पताल स्तर पर 497 पीएचसी स्तर पर 7779 तथा सब सेंटर स्तर पर 3922 आयुष केंद्रों की स्थापना की गई। प्रो भट्ट ने बताया कि मिशन कार्यों के लिए वर्ष 2022-23 में सरकार ने बजट को बढ़ाकर 800 करोड़ रुपए कर दिया है। उन्होंने 2014 के बाद आयुर्वेद तथा आयुष विधा से इलाज व शिक्षा को लेकर हुए प्रयासों और हासिल उपलब्धियों की विस्तार से चर्चा की। साथ ही बताया कि कोरोना कालखंड में आयुर्वेद का पुनरुत्थान देश व दुनिया ने देखा। आयुर्वेद के काढ़े को विदेशों में भी एलोपैथी चिकित्सालयों द्वारा प्रोत्साहित किया गया। गुजरात के जामनगर में वैश्विक आयुष नवाचार एवं निवेश शिखर सम्मेलन के दौरान विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन की तरफ से वैश्विक पारंपरिक औषधि केंद्र की स्थापना भारत की वैश्विक स्तर पर आयुर्वेद के लिए एक सिर्फ उपलब्धि है। यह भी पढ़े► पंचकर्म, योग व प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा सहायकों को विदेशी भाषा सिखाई जाएगी

The Government of India has signed 25 Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) for country to country cooperation in the field of medicine Nepal, Bangladesh, Hungary, Trinidad & Tobago, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Myanmar, World Health Organization, Germany, Iran, Sao Tome & Príncipe, Equatorial Guinea, Cuba, Colombia, Japan, Bolivia, Gambia, Republic of Guinea, China, St Vincent and The Grenadines, Suriname, Brazil and Zimbabwe. 37 MoUs for undertaking collaborative research and development of Traditional Medicine has been signed with foreign Institutes/Universities/Organizations from USA, Germany, UK, Canada, Malaysia, Brazil, Australia, Austria, Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Japan, Indonesia, Reunion Island, Korea and Hungary etc.. 15 MoUs have been signed for setting up of Ayush Academic Chairs in foreign Institutes/Universities from Hungary, Latvia, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Russia, West-Indies, Thailand, Indonesia, Slovenia, Armenia, Argentina, Malaysia, South Africa, Australia and Mexico. The constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research namely Institute of Himalayan Bio-resource Technology (CSIR-IHBT), Palampur has signed an MoU with National Research Institute of Chinese Medicine, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan, to collaborate in the areas of mutual interest which included medicinal plants, bioactive molecules, herbal formulations etc. CSIR and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have signed an MoU to identify the opportunities for scientific and technological research between researchers located within and outside of India, including collaborations with foundation-funded entities in the areas including but not limited to traditional medicine (AYUSH)-guided by specific applications to disease/ health priorities. Under the Central Sector Scheme for Promotion of International Co-operation in Ayush (IC Scheme), Ministry of Ayush supports Ayush drug manufacturers, entrepreneurs, Ayush institutions and Hospitals etc. for international propagation of Ayush by participating in international exhibitions, trade fairs, road shows etc. to display their products and services. Ayush Oushadhi Gunvatta evam Uttpadan Samvardhan Yojana (AOGUSY) of Ministry of Ayush has been initiated for augmenting quality of Ayush drugs during the 15th Finance Cycle (2021-22 to 2025-26) by merging the existing Central Sector Schemes of Pharmacovigilance initiative, Central Drug Controller of Ayush and Quality Control of ASU&H drugs {Component of National Ayush Mission (NAM)} and inclusion of certain new elements to facilitate standardization, effective enforcement of rules/regulations, technology up-gradation for manufacturing and analytical testing, certification/accreditation, training and capacity building activities intended towards quality assurance of Ayush drugs. The Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) of Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India is available to the Industry for availing benefits under Manufacturing and Service Sector including Ayush. Indian medicine Pharmaceutical Corporation Limited (IMPCL) which is a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Ayush (Government of India) is manufacturing of Ayurveda & Unani Medicines in India. India is a biodiversity rich country and as per the Botanical Survey of India estimation, more than 8,000 species of medicinal plants are found in the country including state of Maharashtra.
