Star couple Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee have contracted the Coronavirus. On Wednesday, Gurmeet took to Twitter and announced that he along with his wife tested Covid positive. The couple is currently in home isolation.
"My wife Debina and I have tested positive for COVID-19 today. We are touch wood, doing fine and are taking all the necessary precautions, in isolation at home," Gurmeet tweeted.
The actor also requested that those who had in the proximity of either him or his wife in recent times should take proper care of themselves.
"We request all those who have been in contact with us to take care. Thank you all for your love and support," he added.
Gurmeet recently visited Jaipur to complete the shoot of his film, "The Wife".
New Delhi, Aug 8 (IANS) After a number of prominent politicians in the country were infected with the coronavirus, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Choudhary too has tested positive.Choudhary had complained of coronavirus symptoms on Friday night, after which he got himself tested. The test report confirmed his positive status. "There is fever along with a little breathing problem. I am receiving care under the supervision of doctors in a hospital," Choudhary tweeted.Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had tested corona positive. Shiromani Akali Dal MP Naresh Gujral too was found infected with the virus. BJP MP Jyotiraditya Scindia and party spokesperson Sambit Patra contracted the virus but have since recovered.Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa too had tested positive for coronavirus. On Friday, Congress leader Siddaramaiah's son Yathindra Siddaramaiah was found to be corona positive. Mumbai, June 21 (IANS) Actor Gurmeet Choudhary says fitness has always been important for him."With gyms unaccessible, Yoga is the only way to keep yourself fit. I have been doing isha kriya twice daily along with chanting om," he said."Yoga for me, is finding my inner peace. I have always been a fitness fanatic. During lockdown, it's important to keep fit mentally as well as physically.
