आयुर्वेद प्रोफेशनलों के लिए स्मार्ट’ कार्यक्रम

भारतीय चिकित्सा प्रणाली के लिए राष्ट्रीय आयोग (एनसीआईएसएम) और केन्द्रीय आयुर्वेदीय विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद (सीसीआरएएस), जो क्रमशः चिकित्सा शिक्षा का नियमन करने और वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान करने के लिए भारत सरकार के आयुष मंत्रालय के अधीनस्‍थ दो प्रमुख संस्थान हैं, ने आयुर्वेद कॉलेजों और अस्पतालों के माध्यम से प्राथमिकता वाले स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान क्षेत्रों में वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से ‘स्मार्ट (स्कोप फॉर मेनस्ट्रीमिंग आयुर्वेद रिसर्च इन टीचिंग प्रोफेशनल्स)’ कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है। एनसीआईएसएम के अध्यक्ष वैद्य जयंत देवपुजारी और सीसीआरएएस के महानिदेशक प्रो. रबिनारायण आचार्य ने आज एनसीआईएसएम के आयुर्वेद बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर बी.एस. प्रसाद और अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की उपस्थिति में इस कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। एनसीआईएसएम के अध्यक्ष वैद्य जयंत देवपुजारी ने इस पहल की सराहना की और कहा, ‘मुझे विश्वास है कि इस कार्यक्रम में आयुर्वेद में चिकित्सीय शोध या नैदानिक अनुसंधान में व्‍यापक बदलाव लाने की विशिष्‍ट क्षमता है। यह पाया गया कि आयुर्वेद शिक्षकों के विशाल समुदाय की अनुसंधान क्षमता का आम तौर पर उपयोग नहीं हो पाता है। अत: ‘स्मार्ट’ कार्यक्रम का आयुर्वेद के क्षेत्र में अनुसंधान पर गहरा दीर्घकालिक कायाकल्प प्रभाव पड़ेगा, और यह राष्ट्र के लिए एक महान सेवा होगी, मैं इस पहल के लिए सीसीआरएएस को बधाई देता हूं और एनसीआईएसएम की ओर से हरसंभव सहयोग सुनिश्चित करता हूं।’   सीसीआरएएस के महानिदेशक प्रो. वैद्य रबिनारायण आचार्य ने 'स्मार्ट' के प्रमुख बिंदुओं पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा, ‘प्रस्तावित पहल ऑस्टियोआर्थराइटिस, आयरन की कमी से होने वाले एनीमिया, क्रोनिक ब्रोंकाइटिस, डिस्लिपिडेमिया, रूमेटाइड अर्थराइटिस , मोटापा, मधुमेह मेलेटस, सोरायसिस, सामान्य चिंता विकार, गैर-अल्कोहल फैटी लि‍वर रोग (एनएएफएलडी) सहित स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान क्षेत्रों में अभिनव अनुसंधान विचारों की पहचान करने, आवश्‍यक सहायता करने और बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से की गई है।’ उन्होंने यह भी कहा, ‘पात्र आयुर्वेद शैक्षणिक संस्थान 10 जनवरी, 2023 तक आवेदन कर सकते हैं। संपर्क जानकारी, योग्यता मानदंड और आवेदन प्रक्रिया के बारे में सभी विवरण एनसीआईएसएम के माध्यम से सभी मान्यता प्राप्त शैक्षणिक संस्थानों और अस्पतालों में साझा किए गए हैं।’ एनसीआईएसएम के आयुर्वेद बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर बी.एस. प्रसाद ने कहा, ‘‘देश भर में आयुर्वेद कॉलेजों और अस्पतालों का विशाल नेटवर्क देश की स्वास्थ्य सेवा संबंधी जरूरतों के लिहाज से एक अहम संपत्ति है। यह नेटवर्क न केवल संकट काल में स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्रदान करता रहा है, बल्कि इसने देश में स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान के संदर्भ में भी व्‍यापक योगदान दिया है। ‘स्मार्ट’ कार्यक्रम निश्चित रूप से शिक्षकों को स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान के निर्दिष्ट क्षेत्रों में परियोजनाओं को अपने हाथ में लेने और एक बड़ा डेटाबेस तैयार करने के लिए प्रेरित करेगा।’’ यह अंग्रेजी में भी पढ़े► ‘SMART’ Program for Ayurveda Professionals to Boost R&D in Ayurveda in The Country

‘SMART’ Program for Ayurveda Professionals to Boost R&D in Ayurveda in The Country

The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), the two prominent institutions under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India for regulating medical education and conducting scientific research respectively, have launched ‘SMART’ (Scope for Main streaming Ayurveda Research in Teaching Professionals) program aimed to boost scientific research in priority healthcare research areas through Ayurveda colleges and hospitals. The program was launched today by Vaidya Jayant Deopujari, Chairman, NCISM and Prof. Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General, CCRAS in the presence of Prof. B. S. Prasad, President of Board of Ayurveda, NCISM and other senior officials. Vaidya Jayant Deopujari, Chairman, NCISM, lauded the initiative and said, “I am confident that this program has the potential to transform clinical research in Ayurveda. It was observed that the research potential of the large community of Ayurveda teachers remains under utilised mostly. Therefore, the ‘SMART’ program will have a deep long term rejuvenating impact on research in the field of Ayurveda and it will be a great service to the nation, I congratulate CCRAS for this initiative and ensure all support on behalf of NCISM.” While highlighting key points of ‘SMART’, Prof. Vaidya Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General, CCRAS said, “The proposed initiative is conceptualised with an objective to identify, support and promote innovative research ideas in healthcare research areas including Osteoarthritis, Iron Deficiency Anaemia, Chronic Bronchitis, Dyslipidemia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Obesity, Diabetes Mellitus, Psoriasis, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)”. He also added, “The eligible Ayurveda academic institutions may apply by 10 January, 2023. All details regarding contact information, eligibility criteria and application process has been shared to all recognized academic institutions and hospitals through NCISM”. Prof. B. S. Prasad, President of Board of Ayurveda, NCISM, mentioned, “The large network of Ayurveda colleges and hospitals across the country is an asset for the country in terms of its healthcare needs. This network has not only been offering healthcare services in hardest times, but it also has contributed significantly in terms of healthcare research in the country. केन्‍द्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान को

आयुष की बढ़ती वैश्विक मांग के बीच, भारतीय चिकित्सा पद्धति के क्षेत्र में संस्थान और अस्पताल तेजी से चिकित्सा बुनियादी ढांचे और सुविधाओं का आधुनिकीकरण कर रहे हैं। आयुष मंत्रालय के केन्‍द्रीय आयुर्वेदीय विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद् (सीसीआरएएस) के तहत दो प्रमुख संस्थान केन्‍द्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान (सीएआरआई), नई दिल्ली और केन्‍द्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान, झांसी को क्रमशः एनएबीएच और एनएबीएल की आधिकारिक मान्यता मिल गई है। उल्लेखनीय है कि एनएबीएच भारतीय गुणवत्ता परिषद का मूल बोर्ड है, जिसकी स्‍थापना स्वास्थ्य सेवा संगठनों के मान्यता कार्यक्रमों को स्थापित करने और उन्‍हें चलाने के लिए की गई है। आधिकारिक मान्यता राष्ट्रीय/अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानकों के आधार पर रोगी सुरक्षा और स्वास्थ्य देखभाल की गुणवत्ता पर ध्यान केंद्रित करती है। इस उपलब्धि पर आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव वैद्य राजेश कोटेचा ने दोनों संस्थानों के अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को उनके समर्पण और निरंतर प्रयासों के लिए बधाई दी। आयुष भवन, नई दिल्ली में औपचारिक रूप से आयोजित कार्यक्रम में आयुष मंत्रालय के विशेष सचिव श्री प्रमोद कुमार पाठक, दोनों संस्थानों के प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे। केन्‍द्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान, नई दिल्ली की स्थापना वर्ष 1979 में आयुष मंत्रालय के केन्‍द्रीय आयुर्वेदीय विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद् (सीसीआरएएस) के तहत की गई थी और यह आयुर्वेद में नैदानिक ​​अनुसंधान के लिए समर्पित है और यह सामान्‍य ओपीडी के माध्‍यम से आयुर्वेद में विशेष ओपीडी, सुरक्षात्‍मक हृदय रोग विज्ञान और जीवन शैली की चुनौतियों, कान और नाक की ओपीडी, जराचिकित्सा ओपीडी, बालरोग, संधिरोग, क्लिनिकल साइकोलॉजी और मर्म ओपीडी के रूप में स्वास्थ्य देखभाल सेवाओं का विस्तार करता है। इस तरह की महत्वपूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवा की पेशकश, एनएबीएच मान्यता प्राप्‍त संस्थान में आने वाले हजारों रोगियों के स्वास्थ्य संबंधी उद्देश्यों को बदल देगी। सीसीआरएएस-सीएआरआई, झांसी (उत्‍तर प्रदेश) को एनएबीएल की मान्यता केन्‍द्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान, झांसी (उत्‍तर प्रदेश) सीसीआरएएस, आयुष मंत्रालय के प्रमुख संस्थानों में से एक है, जिसमें अत्याधुनिक गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण प्रयोगशालाएं (रसायन विज्ञान, सूक्ष्म जीव विज्ञान, फार्माकोग्नॉसी), आयुर्वेदिक फार्मेसी, सेंट्रल हर्बेरियम और संग्रहालय, और नेशनल रॉ ड्रग्स रिपॉजिटरी (एनआरडीआर) हैं। इन दो सीसीआरएएस संस्थानों के अलावा, पंचकर्म के लिए राष्ट्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान (एनएआरआईपी), चेरुथुरुथी, त्रिशूर, केरल को भी अपनी नैदानिक ​​प्रयोगशाला सेवाओं के लिए एनएबीएल एम (ईएल) टी की आधिकारिक मान्यता प्राप्त है। एनएआरआईपी, केरल केंद्रीय आयुर्वेदिक विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद, आयुष मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत प्रमुख अनुसंधान संस्‍थाओं में से एक है।

NABH and NABL Accreditation to Two More Ayush Institutes

Amid the rising global demand for Ayush, the institutes and hospitals in the area of Indian Systems of Medicine continue to upgrade medical infrastructure and facilities at a rapid pace. Two of the premiere institutes under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) of the Ministry of Ayush namely, Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), New Delhi, and Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Jhansi, have been accredited with NABH and NABL accreditations, respectively. It is noteworthy that NABH is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate accreditation programs for healthcare organizations. The accreditation focus on patient safety and quality of healthcare based upon national/international standards. On this achievement Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush congratulated the officers and staffs of both the institutes for their dedication and consistent efforts. Shri Pramod Kumar Pathak, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, representative of both the institutes were present in the formal gathering at Ayush Bhawan, New Delhi.   Central Ayurveda Research Institute, New Delhi, was established in the year 1979 under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, and is dedicated to Clinical Research in Ayurveda and extends health care services through special OPDs in Ayurveda as General OPD, Preventive Cardiology & Lifestyle Changes, ENT OPD, Geriatric OPD, Balroga, Sandhiroga, Clinical Psychology, and Marma OPD. With such critical healthcare services on offer, the NABH accreditation will affect thousands of patients visiting the institute for a wide range of healthcare purposes. NABL accreditation to CCRAS-CARI, Jhansi (U.P.) Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Jhansi (U.P.) is one of the premium institutes of CCRAS, Ministry of Ayush, with state-of-the-art Quality Control Laboratories (Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacognosy), Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Central Herbarium and Museum, and National Raw Drugs Repository (NRDR). Apart from these two CCRAS institutes, the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP), Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur, Kerala has also got NABL M(EL)T accreditation for its clinical laboratory services. NARIP, Kerala is one of the premier research Institute under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of Ayush.

विश्व आयुर्वेद कांग्रेस और आरोग्य एक्सपो 2022 का उद्घाटन

9वीं विश्व आयुर्वेद कांग्रेस (डब्ल्यूएसी) का उद्घाटन  पणजी, गोवा में केंद्रीय पर्यटन और पत्तन, पोत परिवहन और जलमार्ग राज्य मंत्री श्रीपाद नाइक, मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. प्रमोद सावंत और आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव वैद्य राजेश कोटेचा की उपस्थिति में किया गया। 9वीं डब्ल्यूएसी का उद्देश्य वैश्विक स्तर पर चिकित्सा की आयुष प्रणाली की प्रभावकारिता और ताकत का प्रदर्शन करना है। केंद्रीय पर्यटन तथा पत्तन, पोत परिवहन और जलमार्ग राज्य मंत्री श्रीपद नाइक ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि 2014 में भारत सरकार ने एक अलग आयुष मंत्रालय की स्थापना करके आयुर्वेद के विश्वव्यापी विस्तार को सुगम बनाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि आयुष आज जिस तरह से तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है, उसे देखते हुए यह याद रखना चाहिए कि इस विकास का बीज उस निर्णय में निहित है। श्रीपद नाइक ने कहा, "हमारे पूर्वजों ने आयुर्वेद को दुनिया के सामने लाया। 'वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम' शुरू से ही भारत की भावना रही है। 2015 में, संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस मनाने का फैसला किया। अब यह दुनिया भर के नागरिकों को लाभान्वित कर रहा है। आयुर्वेद कांग्रेस की गतिविधियां पूरी दुनिया में चिकित्सा और कल्याण की ऐसी पारंपरिक प्रणालियों के प्रचार में एक महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही हैं।" मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. प्रमोद सावंत ने गोवा में विश्व आयुर्वेद कांग्रेस और आरोग्य एक्सपो के इस संस्करण की मेजबानी का अवसर देने के लिए केंद्र सरकार को धन्यवाद दिया। डॉ. सावंत ने कहा कि आयुष इलाज के लिए आयुष वीजा की शुरुआत एक ऐतिहासिक फैसला है। उन्होंने कहा कि गोवा में अखिल भारतीय आयुर्वेद संस्थान के आगामी उपग्रह केंद्र से राज्य में आयुर्वेदिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा। उन्होंने बताया कि गोवा के छात्रों को संस्थान में विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए प्रवेश में 50% आरक्षण मिलेगा। आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव वैद्य राजेश कोटेचा ने कहा कि पिछले 8 वर्षों में आयुष क्षेत्र में जबरदस्त वृद्धि हुई है। उन्होंने कहा कि 2022 के अंत तक आयुष क्षेत्र 10 बिलियन डॉलर तक पहुंच जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि देश के कोविड-19 महामारी प्रबंधन में आयुष का योगदान बहुत अधिक है। उन्होंने कहा कि आयुष मंत्रालय ने एक प्रभाव मूल्यांकन अध्ययन किया और पाया कि 89.9% भारतीय आबादी कोविड-19 की रोकथाम और उपचार के लिए कुछ हद तक आयुष पर निर्भर है। इस अवसर पर 'आयुष्मान' कॉमिक पुस्तक श्रृंखला के तीसरे संस्करण का भी विमोचन किया गया। पारंपरिक भारतीय चिकित्सा प्रणालियों में उन्नत अध्ययन की सुविधा के लिए अखिल भारतीय आयुर्वेद संस्थान (एआईआईए) और रोसेनबर्ग की यूरोपीय आयुर्वेद अकादमी, जर्मनी के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। 9वीं विश्व आयुर्वेद कांग्रेस और आरोग्य एक्सपो 2022 का आयोजन 8 से 11 दिसंबर तक गोवा में किया जा रहा है, जिसका उद्देश्य आयुर्वेद क्षेत्र को मजबूत करने, इसके भविष्य की कल्पना करने और आयुर्वेद वाणिज्य को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पेशेवरों तथा उपभोक्ताओं के बीच बातचीत की सुविधा के लिए नेटवर्किंग और ज्ञान आदान-प्रदान करने के लिए उद्योग के अग्रदूतों, चिकित्सकों, पारंपरिक वैद्यों, शिक्षाविदों, छात्रों, दवा निर्माताओं, औषधीय पौधा उत्पादकों और विपणन रणनीतिकारों सहित सभी हितधारकों के लिए एक वैश्विक मंच प्रदान करना है। देश में आयुष (आयुर्वेद, योग और प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा, यूनानी, सिद्ध और होम्योपैथी) क्षेत्र का बाजार आकार 2014 के 3 बिलियन डॉलर से बढ़कर अब 18 बिलियन डॉलर से अधिक हो गया है, जिसमें छह गुना की अभूतपूर्व वृद्धि हुई है। 2014-2020 के दौरान, आयुष उद्योग में साल-दर-साल 17 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई, जबकि आयुर्वेद बाजार के 2021-2026 से 15 प्रतिशत सीएजीआर से बढ़ने का अनुमान है। 9वीं विश्व आयुर्वेद कांग्रेस और आरोग्य एक्सपो में 53 देशों के 400 विदेशी प्रतिनिधियों सहित दुनिया भर के 4500 से अधिक प्रतिभागी भाग ले रहे हैं। आरोग्य एक्सपो में 215 से अधिक कंपनियां, प्रमुख आयुर्वेद ब्रांड, दवा निर्माता तथा आयुर्वेद से संबंधित शैक्षिक और अनुसंधान एवं विकास संस्थान भाग लेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी 11 दिसंबर को डब्ल्यूएसी के समापन समारोह में शामिल होने वाले हैं। यह भी पढ़े► प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 11 दिसंबर 2022 को तीन राष्ट्रीय आयुष संस्थान राष्ट्र को समर्पित करेंगे

PM Narendra Modi to dedicate

Union Minister of Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal today announced that three National Ayush Institutes - All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa, National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Ghaziabad and National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Delhi will be dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 11th December 2022. These satellite institutes will further strengthen the research, international collaborations and facilitate affordable Ayush services for larger community. While addressing the media Sarbananda Sonowal also gave details of 9th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC), which will showcase the scientificity, efficacy, strength of Ayush System of Medicines at Global level in Panjim, Goa. Minister of State of Ayush Dr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai along with Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha and other officials of Ministry of Ayush were present on this occasion. Prime Minister will also attend the valedictory function of WAC on 11 December in Goa. On this occasion, Sarbananda Sonowal said, Establishment of these institutes is in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of expansion of infrastructure and human resources, promotion of research in the traditional medical systems. Through these institute Government of India will be further strengthen its capabilities to provide affordable healthcare to every citizen and every region of the country. Establishment of these three National Ayush institutes in Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani will create 400 additional seats for 400 students, who want to pursue UG, PG and Doctoral courses and also add 550 additional beds in these three streams. All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa will work to provide the highest quality facilities for UG, PG and post-doctoral streams in the aspects of education, research and patient care services through Ayurveda system of medicine. It will be developed into a wellness hub of Ayurveda promoting Medical Value Travel (MVT) and will function as a model centre for international and national collaboration for academic & research purposes. The National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Delhi is first of its kind to be established in Northern India for developing the Homoeopathic system of medicine and to provide health care facilities. It will work in mainstreaming and integrate Ayush healthcare services with modern medicines and encourage R&D and innovation and to develop National Institutes of repute. National institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh will be a satellite Centre of the existing National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bangalore.  It will first such institute in Northern India and cater to the patients around Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and other states of India as well as foreign nationals under MVT. Ministry of Ayush is collaborating to organize 9th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) at Panjim, Goa and will showcase the scientificity, efficacy, and strength of Ayush System of Medicines at Global level. To this end various activities are being planned and Ayush fraternity is also participating in different discussions, presentations etc.
