Vaidyaratnam Devadarvarishtam is one of the most commonly prescribed Ayurvedic aqueous composition comprising 5 to 10% self-generated alcohol. It has Devdaru (Cedrus deodara) as one of the main ingredients which are a potent remedy for skin disorders and complications of Diabetes.

Properties and Uses:

It is effective in dealing skin disorders and complications of Diabetes.

Dosage and Anupan:

It should be taken in a dose not more than 2-4 tsp (15-30 ml) at a time, along with an equal quantity of water.

Side Effects:

A single dosage of more than 50 ml causes gastrointestinal disturbances and diarrhea.

Shelf Life:

10 years. A bottle should be emptied within 90 months of opening.
