Multani Punarnavadyarishta is one of the most advised classical Ayurvedic formulations of Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) which contains 5 to 10% self-generated alcohol produced by fermentation of herbal decoctions.
Properties and Uses:
It is useful in all kinds of Udara-Roga (Abdominal Disorders), Dahtukshaya and Ojokshaya, Shotha (Oedema), Jwara (Fever), Hrid-Roga (Cardiac Disorders), all types of Skin disorders, Urinary disorders and Inflammatory disorders.
Dosage and Anupan:
10 – 20 ml once or twice a day with an equal quantity of water, usually advised to be taken after meals.
Dosage should not exceed more than 40 ml at a single time as it may cause loose motions and gastrointestinal disturbances.
It should not be taken by people with a sensitive stomach.
10 years. Consume the bottle within 2 months after opening.
