Properties and uses:
It is mainly used in kapha and pitta doshas. Irritable bowel syndrome, Dysentery, intestinal Infections, acute or chronic diarrhea, diarrhea with fever, Chronic bronchitis, Shigella Infections, productive cough, bleeding disorder, It is AAMAPACHAK.
Dosages and Anupan:
12-24 ml one or 2 times a day usually advised after food. It can be taken as mix with same amount of water. It can also give to the patients according to their parkriti.
Intake of high doses causes constipation. It is bitter in taste and have emetic action. It causes Distaste, Vomiting, nausea. It is not widely used in lactation and pregnancy.
10 years. Once after opening the bottle, it should be consume within 2 months.
