Sambhamani Vati is a type of Ayurvedic medicine made from the bark of Giloy. It is very beneficial in curing all types of fever. Therefore it is considered as the best medicine for fever in Ayurveda. Baidyanath Sanshamani Bati is indicated in the treatment of Chronic fever, asymmetric fever (typhoid), pandu (jaundice), daurbalya (weakness), rajyakshama (TB) etc.

Although it is the most important medicine for the treatment of all types of fever, but there are many more. like -

If you have chronic fever in your body, then you should take sanshamani vati tablet for 1 or 2 weeks, then you will get relief soon.

If someone is having fever due to TB disease, then consuming it is beneficial and it also removes physical weakness. It also removes the problem of white discharges (leucorrhea) of women.

People who suffer from jaundice are cured if consumed. It also removes problems related to the digestive system.

Dosages and Anupan

If an adult has to consume Sambhini Vati, the quantity of Sambhni Vati should be 250 to 500 mg along with water.

And its pills (sanshamani vati tablets) should be taken 2-2 in the morning and evening along with water.

But if it is to be consumed by the child, then its powder should be reduced by half the amount given above and only 1 tablet should be given in the morning and evening along with water.

Side effects

Overconsumption of this formulation without doctor’s consultation may cause severe allergic reactions.

Intake of this Bati in large doses without Doctor’s advice can cause stomach ache, abdominal discomfort and gastritis.

Although it effectively treats several diseases, sometimes due to the presence of metallic ashes, it might worsen pitta symptoms leading to vertigo, mouth ulceration and increased bleeding.

Diabetics,Pregnant women and Lactating mother should take this medicine under strict medical supervision.
