AVP Panchavalkadi Tailam is a herbal oil preparation for skin. coconut oil is used as the base oil for its preparation.

Panchvalkal itself represents as it is composed of bark(valkal) of five tress as chief components of this preperation

Properties and uses

Panchvalkaladi thailam is used to treat eczema, dermatitis, herpes and skin conditions with bleeding, oozing and secretions.

Effect on Tridosha: Balances Pitta and Kapha at the level of skin.

Applied externally with the help of cotton swab on the affected areas of skin.

Doses and anupan

The affected skin area is applied with panchavalkaladi oil, left as it is for 25-30 minutes, then washed with water. This oil is used for external application only.

A cotton swab is dipped in the oil and kept over the affected area.

Side effects

There is no side effects as applied externally only.

Shelf life

Three years from the date of manufacturing .

It is advised to consume with in one year after opening of container.
