Properties & Uses
1.It contains some aam pachak dravya as an ingredient, hence useful in Amavata(Rheumatoid arthritis).
2.Due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, It helps to reduce pain, swelling and stiffness in joints.
3.It is also useful in the management of Osteoarthritis, Frozen shoulder and different kinds of vata disorders.
Dosage and Anupan
In children: 2.5-10ml two times in a day with 4 times boiled and cooled water, before meal.
In adults: 5-15ml two times in a day with 4 times boiled and cooled water, before meal.
Side-effects
1.Usually no side-effects observed when taken under medical supervision but if taken without consulting the physician, some of its side effects like heart burn, gastric irritation or discomfort, restlessness are seen due to its hot potency.
2.It should be avoided at the time of pregnancy as it promotes bleeding due to its hot potency.
