I am an Ayurvedic Physician(B.A.M.S.) & have done P.G. Diploma in Emergency Medical Services(P.G.D.E.M.S.). I've been practicising in the field of ayurveda since 10 years & during this time I got opportunities to work & learn the concepts of Ayurveda under few great & renown ayurvedic practitioners , that increased my self confidence & belief . I have participated in various conferences & seminars in Delhi & also at national level. I have delivered lectures in different educational institutes, covering topics like health & hygiene, role of Ayurveda in our daily life, benefits of yoga & pranayamas, lifestyle disorders & ayurvedic cure, Ayurveda & panchkarma role & benefits, etc. I have been actively involved in arranging various health camps, yoga camps, etc. Now I am the Director of Arogyam Avurveda. Our centre "Arogyam Ayurveda" is located in paschim vihar We are curing our patients through the holistic & authentic approach of Ayurveda. We are providing Ayurveda, Panchkarma & Naturopathy treatments & therapies under one roof. There is a great deal of challenge working in an independent setting because it is just that, independent. With that said, the rewards are wonderful. I can pick and choose the modalities that best suit my patients, I work with. I can allow and encourage the patient help direct their own care and listen to their feedback. Many times, the patient just needs to be heard. It encompasses the mind body and spirit and that the journey is about looking for the possibilities through ailments. Approaching any ailment or disease holistically helps the patients to realize that they have a variety of options available to get treated for their symptoms such as meditation, ayurvedic medication, yoga, panchkama & naturopathy. Every single person that comes to see me is a challenge. There's a challenge in getting them to understand that they are a partner in their own health care and that I am not here to administer to them, I'm here to partner with them. I do not only practice medicine, I practice coaching, and coaching people requires you get their permission to be part of people's life, and to encourage and motivate them to be very much a part of their own life. I think being in this field is extremely humbling, there is so much to know, I don't think any one person could possibly have all of the resources they need in order to be truly effective. While I feel that I am proficient in what I do, there are gaps in my knowledge, and I feel that's always going to be the case; the more you learn, the more you open up new holes that you know nothing about. I don't need any more degrees, but my future goal is to continue to work as hard as I can to close those knowledge gaps. I plan on enhancing my knowledge in functional medicine, botanicals, medical and corrective exercise, and counseling. These are all things that are impo aintain an awareness and become more proficient.
