Why did you choose Ayurvedic practices?
Ayurveda is a tradition and passion for me. It is part of my life. I have been attracted to Ayurveda since my childhood days when my grandmother was cured of her stroke through Ayurveda.
What is your experience when it comes to treating patients? Do they trust the treatment?
I am proud to say I have treated fibromyalgia, lower back ache, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, septic arthritis eczema, migraine, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. to name a few.
Any challenge that you face as a practitioner?
The practice in Bangalore was eye-opening as many patients were unaware of Ayurveda. Some of them had lot of misconceptions about Ayurveda.
Any out of ordinary situation that you have faced while treating a patient?
Few patients were reluctant, demanding to know whether Ayurveda treatment really benefits them since they had no relief from Allopathy system of Medicine.
How effective is traditional medicine as a cure?
The effectiveness of Ayurveda as cure is unquestionable as it is able to treat many complicated cases, such as multiple sclerosis, ankylosing spondylitis, stroke, GB syndrome, liver cirrhosis, etc. when patients follow healthy diet , lifestyle restrictions.
What do you think of Ayurveda’s future and its role in Integrated Medicine?
The future of Ayurveda is bright. It will flourish and reach common people all over the world if there is public awareness, workshops, sharing of traditional knowledge, government support, authentic online platforms, authentic Ayurveda centres, and physicians.
Do you think NirogStreet is making a difference by striving to connect the mainstream society exclusively to Ayurveda practitioners through dedicated technology platforms?
NirogStreet is contributing a lot to Ayurveda with their online platform. It has been emerging as the unique community of Ayurveda physicians, students, and patients, where sharing of knowledge and cure is the main aim.
