I have passed my H.S.C from Government School, Krishna Nagar in science stream in 1994. I got admission in B.A.M.S at Gaur Brahman Ayurvedic College, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak after passing an entrance exam in 1995. I completed it in 2001.
It is the era of Ayurveda and it is growing globally. Ayurveda has huge potential, it is an ancient and time-proven medicine system. Its medication is based on natural herbs which have no side effects. I relate to it easily.
Patients want quick, easy, and less expensive treatment as they are too habitual of the western medicine. To convince a patient, it takes a lot of effort. Only after that, they start showing some trust.
There are some challenges. Quality of medicine, availability, and affordability of herbs or medicines, a reliable platform or infrastructure for upgradation of knowledge, etc.
Definitely, it is in the right direction but a lot has to be done over the course of time. It is an elaborate task.
Sometimes, patients want results too quick and they go back to Allopathy even when the Ayurveda treatment has just started. They need to have faith in Ayurveda.
It is an effective medicine system for sure. but unfortunately, only chronic patients who do not have many options after trying Allopathy and having already received several treatments, comes to Ayurveda as the last resort. This mindset must change. awareness programs are important in this context.
Future is promising as more people now want alternative medicine and proximity to the natural lifestyle. Ayurveda is the answer to effective and natural healing. If we integrate Ayush medicines in the treatment of several diseases along with other treatments, the results are going to be promising. For example, Ayurveda can introduce Piperine in T.B. treatment for a far better cure.
I like to spend my leisure time doing yoga. I also like to play chess.
I would like to advise people to follow Ayurveda and its simple tips to stay healthy.
